- As a Program Director, you'll lead our employment and housing programs, ensuring they are developed, implemented, and operated at the highest level. Your leadership will empower staff and clients alike. Key responsibilities include: Supervise, mentor, and train staff to maintain program excellence.
- Maintain an accurate record of client services and other required processes.
- Ensure compliance with contracts and regulations related to developmental disabilities, mental health, and substance abuse services.
- Collaborates with staff to drive positive change and ensure flexible, responsive services that meet evolving needs.
- Participate in meetings with contractors and community partners for updates, plan reviews, and outcomes.
- Represent Compass Career Solutions at community and networking events, including Developmental Disability Advisory Board Meetings, Work Source, Disability Access Teams, and more. Lead outreach efforts to build partnerships with local employers, landlords, shelters, and community organizations.
- Directly support clients as needed, ensuring they receive the highest level of service. Promote and market our programs to expand our impact and reach more individuals in need.
- Track program performance, oversee reporting, and ensure deadlines are met.
- Good communication is key in this role. You'll rely on your reading, writing, and communication skills to document care, follow support plans, and collaborate with both internal and external team members.
- Two years of experience working with individuals facing barriers to employment, housing, or social services, including case management.
- Leadership experience - At least two years in a supervisory role.
- Education & Experience: A Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in social services or a related field OR five years of relevant experience.
- Excellent communication skills - Strong written and verbal abilities.
- Community-minded - Skilled in networking, relationship-building, and advocacy.
- Accountability & Independence - Ability to work autonomously while being a collaborative leader.
- Reliable Transportation - A valid driver's license, insurance, and access to a vehicle are required.
