The job profile for this position is Software Engineering Advisor, which is a Band 4 Senior Contributor Career Track Role with Cigna-Evernorth Services Inc.Responsibilities-
  • Build components of the software platforms that are modern, scalable, and highly available using a range of cutting-edge technologies.
  • Contribute to a highly collaborative and team-first environment on software design patterns, best practices, approved technologies, and tools and solutions.
  • Design application components to fit within the solution architecture.
  • Understand software development best practices, tools, and frameworks, and introduce new approaches where appropriate.
  • Communicate with partners to qualify and shape requirements, improve the software solution, and offer suggestions that meet business needs.
  • Participate in sprint planning, review, retrospective, and story time estimations. Gather and simplify business problems and provide efficient and intuitive software solutions.
  • Hybrid work schedule.
Qualifications-Bachelor's or foreign equivalent degree in computers or engineering plus five years of experience in software application development. Must have experience with: Research, design, develop, and/or modify enterprise-wide systems and/or applications software using Pega Smart Claims Engine Framework, Pega PRPC v8.x or later, Pega INFINITY-23.x or later, Java, Oracle v19.x or later, DB2 v11.x or later, PostGreSQL v15.x or later, PDC v4.x or later; Dynatrace; MQ; Kafka; Analyzing and designing PRPC flows; Zephyr; SQL; HTML; CSS; JavaScript.If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.About The Cigna GroupDoing something meaningful starts with a simple decision, a commitment to changing lives.
