Director of OperationsWe are seeking a hands-on, strategic Director of Operations to lead our warehouse and delivery functions. This role is responsible for overseeing all aspects of operations, including inventory management, logistics, facility maintenance, and fleet management. The ideal candidate brings strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills to a fast-paced environment.Key Responsibilities:Lead warehouse, delivery, and logistics teams with a focus on safety, efficiency, and team developmentOversee all receiving, inventory, and order fulfillment processesMaintain a clean, organized, and compliant facilityManage and optimize delivery routes, fleet maintenance, and capital equipment planningCollaborate with Sales, HR, and other departments to support business growth and align operational strategiesEnsure compliance with safety regulations (OSHA, DOT) and lead internal safety initiativesIdentify and implement process improvements and operational efficienciesDevelop training and staffing strategies for warehouse and driver teamsQualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Operations, Supply Chain, or related field preferred5+ years in operations leadership, ideally in logistics or distributionStrong understanding of P&L management, safety regulations, and operational metricsExcellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to manage cross-functional teamsProficient in Microsoft Office; experience with WMS, telematics, and other operations software preferredAbility to lift and move up to 165 lbs and work in a warehouse environment, including refrigerated areasWork Environment:Regular exposure to warehouse conditions, including cold storage and mechanical equipmentMust be able to operate forklifts, hand trucks, box trucks, and vansThis is an on-site leadership role requiring physical presence in a dynamic operations setting
