PMI Kyoto Packaging Systems is looking for a Quality Inspector to join our team in our Elk Grove Village office!PMI Kyoto Packaging Systems has been an industry leader in the packaging industry for over twenty years. We provide high end, custom machinery to a diverse, international clientele including many Fortune 500 companies. We are a dynamic and rapidly expanding company with great growth opportunity within our own staff. We take great pride in doing our manufacturing capabilities and we do all our assembly in-house.Responsibilities:
  • Verify specified dimensions and measurements to internal and outsourced parts per Engineering drawing.
  • Approve or reject material based of quality standards and record performance
  • Perform and record FAI data on all production and outsourced parts
  • Examine machined or raw material parts for defects and other features to ensure quality
  • Use Microsoft word and Excel spread to submit reports to the Quality Supervisor.
  • Record all quality data on Excel spread including NCM reports.
  • Must have good attendance and be flexible to work extended hours to successfully complete all duties of the position.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Proven experience as a quality inspector in the same industry preferred
  • Must be able to read blueprint/drawing
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • Strong regard for quality assurance according to company standards
  • Good knowledge about industry products and processes
  • Basic mathematical arithmetic
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
  • Have the ability to work in a factory environment
  • Be able to lift and move at least 50 pounds

Schedule:
  • Monday to Friday 7am - 3:30pm with occasional overtime
