Medical Office Manager - Billing & CredentialingLocation: Needham, MA

This position is a vital role within the organization. You will work closely with the Director of Finance and Clinical Director throughout the year to help manage and develop budgets, track financial status, and perform reconciliations.ResponsibilitiesMonitor day-to-day financial operationsPrepare monthly and quarterly management reportsManage all accounting/bookkeeping functions, including bill payments, invoicing, accounts receivable, claims reconciliation, general ledger maintenance, and management reportingParticipate in strategic data analysis, research, and reporting to senior leadershipPerform HR tasks, including credentialing clinicians with insurance companies, onboarding staff, managing health and dental insurance enrollments/terminations, and ensuring COBRA complianceEnsure compliance with accounting policies and regulatory requirementsOversee and monitor client billing and collectionsPerform other tasks as assignedQualificationsBachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting with 5+ years of experience (or 10+ years without a degree)Strong organizational and decision-making skills with the ability to multitaskPrior experience in the medical industry and knowledge of claims processing highly desiredAbility to synthesize complex financial data into actionable insightsStrong communication skills and ability to collaborate with senior leadership and stakeholdersPositive, collegial attitude with a strong sense of teamworkProficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)Comfortable with both Windows and Mac OSProficiency in QuickBooks, including AP, AR, credits/refunds, general journal entries, and use of classesRequired Skills and AbilitiesProficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google WorkplaceExperience with Mac computers a plusExcellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skillsAttention to detail and strong problem-solving abilitiesPrior experience in medical industry billing and insurance processes highly desiredCompensation and BenefitsCompetitive compensation commensurate with experienceHealth and dental insurance401(k) Safe Harbor retirement plan with quarterly match and discretionary profit-sharing contributionsPaid time off and holidays
