The Data Architect will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing robust data solutions to support business objectives. The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of data architecture principles, database management systems, data integration, cloud infrastructure, and security. Proficiency in data governance, DevOps, and hands-on experience in crafting scalable data-driven architectures is essential. Responsible for the innovation strategy and technology roadmap for HPE Hybrid Cloud, overseeing the design, development, and product portfolio of our next-generation GreenLake cloud platform. By working closely with customers, we redefine their IT needs, delivering a streamlined, consumable solution that empowers them to achieve impactful business outcomes. The Data Architect will focus on enabling data platforms and frameworks that handle structured and unstructured data, ensuring optimal performance, quality, and accuracy. Responsibilities include designing and implementing data pipelines, optimizing data storage solutions, and establishing best practices for data integration and analysis.Management Level Definition:

- 15+ years of relevant experience in the industry delivering technical and business strategy at an advanced/strategist level.
- Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent.
- Strong understanding of data architecture, cloud infrastructure, and data management technologies.
- Proven experience driving innovations in data solutions and the productization of advanced development activities.
- Must have a track record of architecting, building, and deploying mission-critical, highly distributed, data-centric applications and solutions.
- Experience with at least one major IaaS and/or PaaS technology (OpenStack, AWS, Azure, VMware, etc.), including defining and scripting full topologies.
- Must be able to work in a global, complex, and diverse environment.
- Lead advanced development teams building proof-of-concept implementations for data platforms and solutions.
- Collaborate with cloud and data architects to design and set standards for the HPE GreenLake Hybrid Cloud platform and data solution portfolio.
- Drive evaluation of data storage and integration solutions and conduct research on platform behavior under different workloads.
- Demonstrate effective technical leadership skills to influence diverse groups toward common goals/strategies.
- Effectively communicate product architectures, design proposals, and negotiate options at the most senior organizational levels within internal and external organizations.
- Strong understanding of database design patterns, data modeling, and data-driven architecture principles.
- Proficiency in cloud-native data architectures, emphasizing high availability, scalability, resilience, performance, and security.
- Act as a cross-functional product and technical expert for the intersection of hybrid cloud and data technologies, collaborating with customers, product management, support, and marketing to support the Hybrid Cloud portfolio.
- Provide consultation, design input, and feedback for product development and design reviews across multiple organizations.
- Transition proof-of-concept implementations into R&D teams to accelerate new product delivery.
- Create technical content such as designs, specifications, and initial software implementations.
- Guide and mentor less-experienced staff members, setting an example of data system design and development excellence while nurturing talent into more senior technical roles.
- Collect product feedback from field interactions to provide input into Engineering and Product Management for product roadmap direction.
- Maintain a high level of knowledge of HPE products, their roadmaps, and that of competitors and prospective strategic partners.
- Strong knowledge of data failure modes, resiliency patterns, and techniques to enable robust, self-healing data architectures.
