- Draft and review estate plans, including wills, trusts, and related legal documents.
- Provide legal counsel on estate administration and probate matters.
- Advise clients on tax planning strategies related to trust and estate matters.
- Represent clients in court proceedings related to trusts and estates.
- Collaborate with financial advisers and other professionals to meet client needs.
- Stay up-to-date on changes in trust and estate laws to ensure compliance.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through excellent communication and service.
- Mentor junior staff and share expertise within the department.
- A Juris Doctor (JD) degree and admission to New York tbar.
- Proficiency in trust and estate law, including drafting legal documents.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Able to handle highly personal matters with sensitivity and warmth.
- A client-focused approach with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Competitive salary in the range of $100,000 to $145,000, depending on relevant experience.
