Compensation
- Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $1630 - $1750 per week
- Location: Winston-Salem, NC 27157 (North Carolina nursing jobs)
- Facility Type: Outpatient Surgery Center, 32 licensed beds
- Assignment Length: 17 weeks (September 15, 2025 January 10, 2026)
- Schedule: 10-hour day shifts, 4 days/week (0630-1700), with potential late days
- Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
- No weekends, no call, no holidays required
- Scrub Color: Mint Green (provided by facility)
- Free on-site parking
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (North Carolina or compact state)
- Minimum 3 years of recent operating room RN experience (required)
- BLS certification (required)
- EPIC EMR experience (required)
- Proficient in surgical specialties: Orthopedics, DaVinci Robotics, Sports Medicine, ENT, Plastics, General Surgery, and Urology
- CNOR certification (preferred for OR nurse jobs)
- First-time travel nurses not accepted
- Deliver skilled perioperative nursing care for diverse surgical specialties, including orthopedics, robotics, sports medicine, ENT, plastics, general, and urology cases
- Document and manage patient care using EPIC EMR
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team: charge RNs, peer RNs, CNAs, CRNAs, surgeons, and advanced practice providers (APPs)
- Promote a culture of safety, inclusion, and teamwork within the operating room
- Participate in facility and departmental orientation for travel nurses
- Comply with all departmental policies, procedures, and scrub color requirements
