- Lead civil design engineering efforts on multi-disciplined project design team
- Produce design drawings, civil analysis and calculations, procurement specifications and construction specifications (civil sections)
- Attend project meetings and perform field walk downs
- Mentor junior engineers
- Must be able to obtain US Government security clearance
- BSCE or similar from an ABET-accredited program; MSCE preferred
- 5+ years of progressively responsible experience in civil and structural engineering
- Specific experience in drainage, grading/site preparation, storm water prevention planning and retention, geotechnical characterization, and foundation design
- Experience working in a project team environment in the design of industrial design projects or power plant experience
- Experience working with and/or at Department of Energy sites and facilities
- Experience in preparing design drawings, engineering analyses and calculations, and construction, fabrication and procurement specifications
- Requires periodic travel to Albuquerque and project locations for client meetings, walk-downs and presentations
- PE License
- DOE experience preferred; commercial or Navy
- Field engineering and construction experience
