No direct reports.You will report to the Manager of Work Management and be located at Columbia, SC. You will support this role 100% onsite.Key Responsibilities:Provide technical leadership in planning and scheduling responsibilities for assigned project work and observing WM-008, Work Order PlanningAssure the availability of all resources to support project tasks, including originating requests for equipment, workforce, parts, materials, and toolingMaintain records of parts usage, labor hours, procedures, design changes. using manual and computerized systemsWork with Fabrication & Installation and Maintenance teams to plan execution of assigned project workCoordinate contractor activities to support project workSupport the Work Management T-week planning processPrioritize work order planning based on project deadlinesCoordinate and gather information from stores, purchasing and cost accounting to provide summaries of labor, parts, and other incurred project and maintenance costsMonitor these costs and make recommendations to the appropriate budget manager on how project or maintenance costs can be minimizedProvide knowledge in the functionality and operation of the site Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), Leading2Lean (L2L)Qualifications:High School Diploma or equivalent. Bachelor's degree is preferred.10+ years' experience in project planning and schedulingMust have a background in mechanical fabrication/welding craft and a working knowledge in at least one other craftMust develop plans that are flexible enough to cover unexpected contingenciesCommunicate needs to management, contractors, and vendors in both written and verbal formShare knowledge and workload with peers to improve planning functionWe are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices.
