Job title:: Sr Full Stack Java DeveloperLocation:: Reston, VADuration:: 12+ monthsIN PERSON INTERVIEW ONLYJob Description:We are looking for Full-Stack SoftwareEngineers to help develop and support our mission critical applications. We arelooking for highly motivated engineers who want to solve tough technicalchallenges and learn and incorporate new technologies into their skillset. Inthis role, you would use a tech stack including Java Spring Boot, Python ,Stored Procedures and Microservices-based architecture in AWS. You will beengaged across the software development life cycle to create, enhance, andmaintain platforms and capabilities in a collaborative and Agile environment.KEY JOB FUNCTIONS1.Participate in all team ceremoniesincluding planning, grooming, product demonstration and team retrospectives.2.Deliver software features using high enddevelopment tools to assist or facilitate development process.3.Leverage DevOps tool stack tobuild, inspect, deploy, test and promote new or updated features.4.Collaborate with other teams to set up,configure and maintain a continuous integration environment.5.Work with product owners and otherdevelopment team members to determine new features and user stories needed innew/revised applications or large/complex development projects.6.Support complex architecture and designsessions7.Participate in code reviews with peersand managers to ensure that each increment adheres to original vision asdescribed in the user story and all standard resource libraries andarchitecture patterns as appropriate.8.Respond to trouble/support calls forapplications in production in order to make quick repair to keep application inproduction.9.Create or update documentation insupport of development efforts. Documents may include detailed specifications,implementation guides, architecture diagrams or design documents.SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE & SKILLSRequired Skills :1.Experience with full-stackdevelopment/design using Java Spring Boot and Python.2.Experience with developing applicationusing AWS Cloud services such as Lambda, Docker Containers, Step Functions,SQS/SNS and other services.3.Experience in writing stored proceduresin Postgres.4.Experience in front-end technologiessuch as Angular, JavaScript, etc.5.Experience with CI/CD with knowledge ofGit Lab/ Git Hub, Gradle and Jenkins6.Experience with implementing integrationsolutions with Microservices, RESTful Web Services and Web APIs7.Experience in production support thathas high visibility/SLA8.Strong problem-solving skills introubleshooting issues and maintenance of Web Services9.Ability to effectively communicate andcollaborate with other engineering teams and key business stakeholders.MINIMUM EXPERIENCE:1.6+ years of related enterpriseexperiencePreferred skills
