In return for their hard work and dedication, we offer our team fantastic benefits and a supportive work culture!A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A COMMUNITY OUTREACH MANAGERAs a Community Outreach Manager, you run our outreach office to offer services to the local community. You work with other agencies to establish outreach programs that will benefit clients, such as food stamps, Supplemental Security Income (SSI), and crisis intervention programs. You actively work alongside volunteers to provide food pantry distribution and other services. Leveraging your marketing skills, you promote our mission and values by preparing press and radio releases.Meticulously, you keep and update statistics pertaining to services rendered, the number of clients served, ethnic breakdowns, and other needed information. You prepare monthly reports for the board with the data you have collected. You also arrange training from specific agencies for the local volunteer board. Collaborating with this board, you assist with community planning and elections. You serve on other community boards in order to keep updated, provide insight, and participate in fundraising efforts. Making a difference in your community makes you feel good, which is why you love working with our non-profit organization!QUALIFICATIONS
  • Associate degree in social work with one year or more of experience OR a high school diploma with three years or more of experience
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
