We are seeking a senior software engineer with a CI Polygraph security clearance or higher to be part of an innovative cyber-defense group that will change the landscape of this space forever. In this role, you will Analyze our partner's requirements to design innovative, high-performance software Provide input and recommendations to improve the group's overall software development standards Integrate existing software into new or modified systems or operating environments Serve as a team lead in the overall design or implementation of complex databases and data repositories Develop algorithms to exceed system performance and functional standards Design, develop and modify software systems, using scientific analysis and mathematical models to predict and measure outcome and consequences of design Collaborate with system engineers and hardware engineers to develop software requirements Have the ability to drive the overall tech stack by recommending new technologies and processes for complex software projects Minimum Requirements You must have a CI polygraph or full scope polygraph clearance to be considered for this role Minimum of 10-20 years of overall professional software development experience. Prior experience in software development or systems engineering for a defense contractor or government agency. We are open on programming language, but you must have a clear expertise in either Core Java, C++, .Net or Python. Experience with open source container technologies such as Kubernetes or Docker is a major plus. Prior experience in a cloud environment such as AWS, Azure or Google Cloud Platform is a plus. Bachelors degree or higher in computer science or a similar discipline
