ResponsibilitiesLocation of Internship: Tulsa, OKResponsibilities:Flight begins with you at Spirit AeroSystems, a place where you can explore your interests and grow your career by working on impactful projects. As a Manufacturing R&D/Liaison Engineering intern, your responsibilities and duties will include:
  • Will evaluate nonconformances occurring during the build cycle and propose repairs to maintain the structural integrity and flight worthiness of product.
  • Participate in developing and testing improvements to the manufacturing build of the product
  • Participate in developing and authoring test plans
  • Participate in authoring product specifications
  • Support cross functional teams
  • Gain real-world practical and leadership skills through challenging hands-on opportunities.
  • Connect with subject matter experts, mentors, and decision makers.
  • Be a part of an intern cohort that enjoys organized social, recreational, and volunteer activities.
Also, should you be selected as a 2026 Spirit AeroSystems Summer Intern, you will have exposure to several activities including:

QualificationsRequirements:
  • You must be a US Person (US Citizen or US Permanent Resident)
  • You must be enrolled full time in a university degree program aligned to the area of internship.
  • You must be a current sophomore, junior, senior or graduate student in good academic standing.
