
Principal Data Scientist

- Analyze contract performance metrics (e.g., rebate utilization, contract compliance, pricing accuracy) to identify trends, anomalies, and improvement opportunities that drive decision-making based on strategic recommendations and operational efficiency.
- Translate business questions into structured data problems and deliver analytical models and solutions that inform pricing and contract strategies.
- Build and maintain analytic workflows, dashboards, and predictive models directly within Palantir Foundry (or similar platforms).
- Ensure that analytical outputs are accessible, interpretable, and actionable by non-technical users.
- Develop repeatable and scalable data science components within enterprise platforms that integrate tightly with contract performance operations.
- Analyze large amounts of data to discover trends and patterns.
- Build predictive models and machine-learning algorithms.
- Present information using data visualization techniques.
- Collaborate with data architects/engineers and data analysts withing the IT group to achieve common project goals.
- Extend the company’s data with third party sources of information when needed.
- Processing, cleansing, and verifying the integrity of data used for analysis.
- Perform ad-hoc analysis and present results in a clear manner.
- Minimum of 5 years of proven experience as a Data Scientist.
- Analytical mindset and deep experience transforming data into business insights.
- Proven experience developing and deploying data science solutions within enterprise-scale analytics platforms such as Palantir Foundry (strong plus), Databricks, Snowflake, Dataiku, Qlik, Alteryx, Tableau Prep, Azure Synapse, or similar.
- Proficiency in Python or R is required for advanced data analysis and modeling tasks.
- Hands-on experience building analytics workflows and models in low-code or no-code collaborative platforms.
- Experience with data modeling concepts and data lineage in modern data ecosystems.
- Proven experience developing machine learning models for predictive and prescriptive data analysis.
- Experience in data visualization (Power BI/Tableau or similar)
- Strong math skills (e.g. statistics, algebra).
- Problem-solving attitude.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Experience working directly with commercial, pricing, contracting or finance teams in a data science capacity.
- Medical devices, healthcare or pharma experience.
- Hands-on experience working with Palantir Foundry.
- Experience with ontology and digital twin frameworks.
- Proven experience with process mining frameworks (Celonis, UiPath,…)
- BSc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering or relevant field; graduate degree in Data Science or quantitative field is a strong plus.
