- Address and alleviate any dental anxieties or fears.
- Utilize specialized dental tools and equipment tailored for pediatric care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
- Collaborate with dental assistants, and other healthcare professionals.
- Manage appointment schedules and follow-up care.
- Stay current with advances in pediatric dentistry through continuous education and training.
- Adhere to best practices and ethical standards in pediatric dental care.
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited dental school.
- Completion of a pediatric dental residency program.
- State dental license to practice dentistry.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to connect with children.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with parents and caregivers.
