The unit you'll support:
  • 20 bed unit with 4-5:1 Nurse to Patient Ratio
  • AdventHealth Central Floridas only fully dedicated Ear, Nose, and Throat (ENT) / Head and Neck Surgery unit
  • Using Enhanced Recovery Pathway protocol for Colo-Rectal/Urology surgeries
  • Our team is trained to manage complex post-operative needs.
  • Winner of both Team Excellence award and Clinical Excellence award during last years Nurses week celebrations.
  • Located on the same floor as our ICU, Rapid response, VAS team, and Respiratory offices.
The role youll contribute:The ANM is a registered professional nurse who supports the Nurse Manager or Director in overall operations of their assigned unit. Is able to demonstrate critical thinking skills, creativity, and has the knowledge to manage resources to achieve quality performance, positive employee relations, and compliance with hospital guidelines. The ANM is skilled in coaching, mentoring, and leading a professional and technical team in the delivery of services to our patient population. The ANM assures quality of care is delivered to our patients and demonstrates effective stewardship of scarce resources. Is supportive of change activities on their unit and works to assure implementation of change that may occur. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.The value youll bring to the team:

  • Clinical Practice Knowledge Is an expert in the clinical practice requirements of their unit
The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:Minimum qualifications:
  • Associate’s degree or Diploma in Nursing
  • Specific experience as delineated by the unit of employment
  • Current valid State of Florida or multistate license as a Registered Nurse
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
  • Advanced Life Support Certifications (ACLS, PALS, NRP) per specialty/unit requirements
  • EKG competency
Preferred qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree of Nursing (BSN) or Master’s degree in Nursing (MSN)
  • Professional Certification
