Heavy Equipment Operator - Site Work (Excavation)

• Minimum 5 years experience
• Excavator, Dozer, Loader
• 3-5 years Under Ground Utility Experience preferred
• Site Grading and Layout
• Trimble GPS experience a Plus
• Valid state driver’s license.
• Works well in a team environment with other co-workers and managers
• Self-motivated
• Must be flexible and able to work extended or unusual hours as the need arises.
• Safely and efficiently operate heavy equipment of various sizes and weights
• Operator will be responsible for a safe work environment for themselves and co-workers.
• When working with co-workers, constant eye contact will be maintained when backing, communicating using hand signals or other movements.
• Properly follow all company policies and OSHA / MSHA regulations for safe working procedures and environment.
• Follow directions of Foreman as to daily tasks and expectations for each specific project or job site.
• Perform minor servicing and maintenance of equipment
• Perform general labor duties when necessary.
• Must be able to work in all weather conditions
• Must be able to work overtime.
• Ability to remain flexible as specific assignments change.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• OSHA 10
• CDL desired- not mandatory
