This role will focus on the origination and development of battery energy storage projects across the U.S. The successful candidate will take ownership of projects from early-stage through pre-construction, working closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to bring high-quality storage projects to market. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to play a pivotal role in scaling a storage portfolio within a renewable energy platform.Key ResponsibilitiesOriginate and advance battery storage opportunities in target markets.Lead all aspects of project development, including site acquisition, permitting, environmental review, and interconnection.Interface with landowners, utilities, regulators, and community stakeholders.Collaborate with finance teams on project modeling, economics, and deal structuring.Monitor storage market trends, incentive programs, and policy changes to inform strategy.Support the transition of projects to construction and asset management.Candidate Profile3-7 years of renewable energy or storage project development experience.Strong understanding of U.S. energy markets, interconnection processes, and permitting.Demonstrated success advancing projects from origination through late-stage development.Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, environmental studies, or related field (MBA or advanced degree a plus).Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.What's on OfferA chance to shape the growth of a dedicated battery storage platform.Exposure to a dynamic, mission-driven company culture.Competitive compensation package, including benefits.Flexibility to work remotely with occasional travel.
