Our global manufacturing and distribution company is seeking a reliable and skilled Machine Operator to join our team at our warehouse facility. In this temporary role, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of various types of machinery and equipment to support our warehouse operations.As a Machine Operator, your key responsibilities will include:
- Operating a variety of warehouse equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling machinery
- Performing routine maintenance and inspections on assigned equipment to ensure optimal performance
- Carefully handling and moving materials, products, and supplies throughout the warehouse
- Adhering to all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe work environment
- Collaborating with warehouse staff to ensure the timely and accurate processing of ordersTo be successful in this role, you should have:
- 1-2 years of experience operating warehouse machinery and equipment
- Familiarity with safety protocols and best practices for material handling
- The ability to read and interpret equipment manuals and instructions
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to workplace safety
