- Four-Year College Degree from a school accredited by a recognized accrediting agency - general major. Requires basic knowledge or training in a specialized or technical field or trade, such as social work, professional accounting, finance, business administration, and marketing.
- Master's Degree from a school accredited by a recognized accrediting agency. Requires knowledge of an advanced type.
- Over two years, up to and including four years.
- Other (Specify): At the discretion of CAMHD credentialing specialists, supplemental training after hire may be substituted for lack of required two years of clinical experience in providing direct crisis response care for youth.
- Skills in collaborating with other disciplines and agency personnel; knowledge of community resources and laws pertinent to crises victim; ability to maintain composure under pressure and in emergency situations; strong verbal and listening skills.
- This job requires a valid Hawaii driver's license, a clear driver's abstract, and willingness to travel in personal vehicle on an as-needed basis throughout the island.
- This job requires a valid Hawaii driver's license, a clear driver's abstract, and may require use of personal vehicle to transport participants to Temporary Crisis Home or Emergency Department as needed. MHS II will provide Transitional Summary if admission to TCH or ED occurs.
- This position is subject to a criminal background investigation and continued employment is contingent on a record clear of convictions.
- Continued employment in this position is contingent on successful completion of CPI classes OR other Behavioral Management certification as may be contract-mandated.
- Continued employment in this position is contingent on successful completion of First Aid classes.
