
Principal Finance Manager, Amazon Special Projects

- Provide strategic guidance and feedback on new business proposals including monetization strategy, product roadmap, pricing, resourcing and other investments
- Deliver financial analyses, insights, recommendations, and solutions to support program funding decisions
- Construct long-range financial models across multiple dimensions (various P&L line items and business model components; by region, product, etc.)
- Collaborate with internal business leads and other Amazon teams to develop financial inputs and evaluate financial outputsBASIC QUALIFICATIONS- 10+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
- 10+ years of finance technology, forecast & budgeting, or other finance-focused competency experience
- Experience in a leadership position managing finance, accounting and operational processes
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or a related analytical field (e.g., engineering, math, computer science)PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS- MBA, or CPA
- Experience building and leading in a complex finance team through a mixed finance skill set (commercial finance, accounting, FP&A, audit, operations)
- Experience working cross-functionally with a wide breadth of stakeholders, users, engineers, and leaders to generate buy-in

The base pay for this position ranges from $125,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $207,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
