Circle Furniture, a leader in high-quality home furnishings, is seeking a detail-oriented and organized part-time Delivery Scheduler to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating and scheduling the timely delivery of furniture to our valued customers. Your ability to work efficiently and communicate effectively will ensure a seamless delivery process that enhances customer satisfaction.As a Delivery Scheduler, you will manage the logistics of our delivery operations, ensuring that deliveries are scheduled accurately and efficiently. You will collaborate closely with our warehouse team and delivery drivers to schedule by zones to optimize routes and ensure that all furniture arrives at its destination on time and in perfect condition.Responsibilities
  • Schedule delivery appointments for customers, ensuring optimal route planning and efficient use of resources.
  • Communicate with customers to confirm delivery details and address any questions or concerns they may have.
  • Coordinate with the warehouse team to ensure that products are prepared for delivery in a timely manner.
  • Monitor the delivery schedule and make adjustments as necessary to accommodate changes or delays.
  • Keep accurate records of deliveries, including customer feedback and any issues that arise during the delivery process.
  • Provide support to the delivery drivers, ensuring they have the necessary information and resources for successful deliveries.
  • Assist in improving delivery processes and procedures to enhance customer experience.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in logistics, scheduling, or customer service is preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with scheduling software is a plus.
  • Problem-solving abilities and the capacity to adapt to changing circumstances.
