Minimum of three (3) years of recent Phlebotomy experience.
Ability to perform inpatient and outpatient phlebotomy, including Emergency Department (ED) and STAT draws.
U.S. Citizenship required.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Must meet all credentialing requirements and provide documentation of immunizations, physical exams, and tuberculosis screening (Two Step TST or Blood Assay).
Job Responsibilities:
Perform patient phlebotomy, including inpatient ward rounds, emergency, and timed draws.
Execute sample processing and send-out preparation.
Identify patients and samples prior to testing, ensuring accuracy.
Safeguard electronic and paper patient information.
Independently evaluate and document patient testing and Quality Control (QC) procedures.
Resolve any collection, processing, testing, or reporting issues.
Deliver patient-centered care in a professional manner to maintain high service standards.
