Ultrasound Tech- Contract Role

• Perform ultrasound examinations in areas such as vascular, obstetric, abdominal, and small parts.
• Produce and evaluate the quality of images for interpretation by physicians.
• Prepare patients for procedures, explain the process, and address any patient concerns.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Operate ultrasound equipment and ensure proper maintenance and safety protocols.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care.
• Adhere to all hospital policies and radiologic safety guidelines.

• Graduation from an AMA-approved school of Radiologic Technology or Medical Sonography.
• Minimum of one year of radiologic/imaging experience.
• Specific training and experience in Medical Sonography is required.
• Vascular and obstetric sonography experience is required.
• Registered with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or Registry Eligible.
• Current BCLS certification (Basic Cardiac Life Support).

• Strong knowledge of general anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
• Proficient in producing clear and diagnostic-quality ultrasound images.
• Ability to read and communicate effectively in English.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrates a high degree of honesty, integrity, and confidentiality.
