Location: Anchorage AK

We are partnering with a leading cardiology and electrophysiology practice that is expanding its device clinic. The team values accuracy, quick turnaround, and patient centered care, and collaborates closely with community providers to deliver consistent outcomes.WHAT YOULL DO:
- Perform in clinic pacemaker and implantable cardioverter defibrillator checks every three to six months per provider orders using programmers from Medtronic, St. Jude, Boston Scientific, Biotronik, or Sorin
- Test and document device parameters including battery life, lead impedance, sensing, capture thresholds for voltage and pulse width, device utilization, and underlying rhythm
- Triage remote device transmissions across vendor platforms and deliver clear, timely reports that meet clinical production standards
- Educate patients and provide excellent support in clinic and by phone during device checks and routine remote follow up
- Apply advanced troubleshooting and programming including left ventricular vector testing, assessment of upper rate behavior, left bundle branch pacing, and CRT optimization using twelve lead ECG
- Coordinate with internal teams and outside clinics to ensure accurate and timely device services
- Contribute to workflow improvements and maintain dependable attendance and team engagement
- Minimum education in a medical related field such as medical assisting or similar
- Preferred bachelor degree in science or biomedical engineering or completion of a cardiac device program plus two years of patient care with implantable device exposure and two years of complex arrhythmia recognition
- Two years of experience in cardiology or a similar role with strong rhythm interpretation and remote pacemaker and defibrillator monitoring
- Proficiency with Medtronic, St. Jude, and Boston Scientific programmers
- Proficiency with remote monitoring portals and platforms
- BLS required. ACLS, CRAT, CCT, medical assisting certification, nursing license, or phlebotomy certification are preferred
