Join a health system where your leadership transforms care and your career thrives.🩺 About the Role: Assistant Nurse Operations Manager (ANOM)As ANOM, you will support the Multisystem Progressive Care Unit (PCU) β€” a dynamic, fast-paced 40-bed unit delivering exceptional acute care to a wide variety of patients including those with Cardiac, Respiratory, Neuro, Renal, GI, and Post-Op needs. This is a hands-on leadership opportunity with 24/7 shared accountability and strong educational support through both corporate and unit-level development resources.πŸ’Ό Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct leadership support alongside the Nursing Operations Manager
  • Manage staffing and scheduling to ensure optimal patient care
  • Lead recruitment, performance development, and corrective action processes
  • Participate in nurse leader rounding and enforce clinical and regulatory best practices
  • Champion quality and process improvement initiatives
  • Foster a culture of excellence in patient experience, safety, and outcomes
  • Deliver service recovery and ensure a positive environment for patients and families
βœ… Qualifications:Experience:
  • Minimum 2 years RN experience in an acute care setting
Education:
  • BSN required if no MSN
  • MSN, DNP, or a graduate degree in health-related or business field preferred
Licensure/Certifications:
  • Current Florida RN license or compact state license
  • BLS certification required
  • Additional certifications may include: ACLS, PALS, NRP, TNCC depending on patient population
