Job Title: Electrical EngineerLocation: Louisville, KY Shift Hours: Full-Time, Day ShiftAbout the RoleOur client, a leading provider of custom machinery and automation solutions, is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join their engineering team. The successful candidate will design, test, and implement electrical systems while collaborating with end users, vendors, and manufacturing teams. This role requires strong troubleshooting skills, knowledge of PLC/PMC systems, and the ability to work independently on complex projects from start to finish.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, test, and implement electrical systems for machinery and automation projectsProgram and troubleshoot PLC/PMC systems (Fanuc preferred)Utilize electrical troubleshooting skills and diagnostic tools, including volt/current meters with low voltage DC and 120/240/460 VAC systemsApply knowledge of programming architecture and debugging techniques to resolve issuesCollaborate with end users to gather requirements and ensure solutions meet operational needsUpdate and maintain technical documents, specifications, and project recordsWork independently to manage projects while meeting deadlines and quality standardsCommunicate effectively with team members, vendors, and end users through clear written and oral communicationQualifications / RequirementsBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related fieldExperience with PLC/PMC systems; Fanuc strongly preferredAutoCAD Electrical experience preferred, but not requiredStrong electrical troubleshooting skills with low voltage DC and AC systems up to 460 VACUnderstanding of programming architecture and debugging processesProven ability to gather and translate user requirements into practical solutionsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
