To learn more: .POSITION SUMMARYSony Corporation of America (SCA), is seeking a Senior Manager, Digital Transformation to join the Digital Transformation (DX) group based in San Diego, CA. The Digital Transformation Office, under Sony Corporation, drives the delivery of highly impactful program solutions worldwide, across the different Sony Group of Companies.In this critically important role, you will collaborate with multiple Sony entities to effectively define business and market opportunities, strategically implementing them with a focus on digital and data transformation. You will bring years of diverse expertise in business strategy, business and use case creation, and understanding of data analysis. Your approach will be marked by a highly strategic and facilitative style that requires a combination of focus and flexibility.This position is a hybrid role requiring 2 days on-site in our New York, NY or San Diego, CA, Office.JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:Establish and nurture partnerships with counterparts across Sony operating companies to facilitate the discovery of opportunities and drive strategic initiatives from the inception phase.Discover and identify business use cases and requirements and requirements pivotal to fostering growth and value creation.Collaborate with internal staff, management teams, and external Sony entities (including subject matter authorities, technology teams, data governance, legal, security teams, etc.) to identify and communicate expectations and tasks.Generate and deliver comprehensive reports to project teams and senior management, outlining the status of use cases and providing success metrics.Translate business requirements to executable actions and drive execution towards both long-term visions and short-term objectives.Develop a compelling value proposition for a corporate data platform and Sony customer account and promote them for cross-Sony division adoption.QUALIFICATIONS FOR POSITIONYour qualifications and experience should include:BA/BS Degree in Business or relevant area of study AND a minimum of 7 years of professional work experience is required. Masters in a relevant field is preferred.Applicable/transferable experience within relatable sectors such as technology, media, entertainment, business strategy, or consulting.The ideal candidate is a motivated, organized, self-starter with the ability to multitask and balance multiple projects of varying complexity under tight time constraints.Ability to work effectively and expertly with cross-functional groups across divisions, worldwide, as a team.Proficient in driving and implementing strategic plans, coupled with a creative approach to solving challenges that may not have readily apparent solutions.Possesses outstanding financial and quantitative analysis skills to identify trends impacting the business and synthesize findings in clear business language.Brings valuable experience in domestic and international business landscapes.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Japanese language skills is a plus.Familiarity with other Sony affiliates is a significant advantage.In addition to competitive pay and benefits, we offer an environment and culture that promotes Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. This range does not include any other compensation components or other benefits that an individual may be eligible for.
