
Marketing Coordinator - Austell, GA

- Plan and manage all events including but not limited to consumer tasting events, charity/fundraising events, internal meetings and gatherings, trade shows, etc.
- Work with external vendors to secure all needs, venues, etc.
- Negotiate pricing, review contracts, and submit invoices.
- Pull products from warehouse, order supplies as needed.
- Work with suppliers to secure marketing tools, collateral, etc.
- Set-up, attend and break-down events (some evening and weekend work will be necessary)
- Prepare pre-event checklists, run-of-show and recaps
- Manage event calendar.
- Work closely and effectively with account reps to ensure positive supplier, customer, and consumer experiences.
- Manage Shelf Talker program for the state.
- Provide support with social media content and other digital marketing opportunities.
- Support State Marketing Manager and Corporate Marketing Director as needed.
- Support team with content for sell-in pitches/presentations.
- Participate in sales meetings to familiarize yourself with new and current suppliers and their marketing campaigns and tools.
- Manage multiple databases (event, supplier, customer, ratings, press etc.)
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Communications
- 3-5 years’ experience in event planning
- Experience in the food and beverage, retail, restaurant, or hospitality industry preferred but not required.
