
School Social Worker

- Provide individual and group counseling to address students' social, emotional, and behavioral needs.
- Conduct assessments to identify barriers to student success and create effective support plans.
- Collaborate with IEP and 504 teams to develop and implement services and accommodations.
- Partner with educators, parents, and school staff to address student concerns and promote well-being.
- Deliver crisis intervention and trauma-informed support as needed.
- Serve as a liaison connecting students and families with community services and supports.
- Maintain documentation in accordance with Colorado Department of Education (CDE) and IDEA regulations.
- Participate in IEP meetings, evaluations, and multi-tiered systems of support (MTSS).
- Educate staff on best practices in mental health, classroom behavior strategies, and student engagement
- Master’s Degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution.
- Valid Colorado Special Services License with a School Social Worker endorsement (or eligibility to obtain).
- Fingerprint clearance and background check required.
