That’s what #LifeAtCummins is all about.We are looking for a talented 19L Assembly Production Associate to join our team for our Seymour Engine Plant in Seymour, IN.In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
  • Performs non-production activities that support the manufacturing processes in accordance with quality and productivity requirements safely in a manufacturing environment with limited guidance
  • Follows all applicable standard work, process documentation, policies, and procedures.
  • Demonstrates a high level of competency in core work skills.
  • Support continuous improvement activities to improve quality, safety, process, and employee development.
  • Maintains clean and orderly work area, including routine housekeeping tasks and other activities watching over company resources.
  • Applies Cummins Operating System (COS) practices and Operations Excellence (OE) methodology throughout the plant.

  • Manufacturing Knowledge - Demonstrates the knowledge of manufacturing by correctly implementing changes in current processes, equipment, and applications to meet the function's needs and contribute towards continuous improvement

Education, Licenses, Certifications
  • High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.
  • This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations
Experience
  • Requires some work experience or intermediate-level knowledge obtained through education, training, or on-the-job experience.
