Job Title: Substation P&C EngineerLocation: Jacksonville, Orlando, Ft. Lauderdale, or Miami, FLEmployment Type: Full-Time | Hybrid (2+ days in office)Overview:Join a growing Florida Power Delivery team as a Substation Engineer. This team supports a diverse portfolio of utilities and municipalities, with Florida Power & Light (FPL) as its largest client. You’ll be involved in both greenfield and brownfield substation projects, with a strong emphasis on physical design.Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and support substation engineering and design efforts (physical, P&C, relay)
  • Develop and review AutoCAD drawings and design packages
  • Collaborate with internal teams and clients to ensure project success
  • Contribute to the growth of the electrical group in the Florida offices
Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience in substation engineering/design
  • Strong experience in physical design; P&C and relay experience a plus
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD required
  • Experience with CDEGS is a plus
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred
Work Environment:
  • Hybrid schedule with 2+ days in office per week
  • Offices located in Jacksonville, Orlando, Ft. Lauderdale, and Miami
  • Collaborative team culture with 15–25 employees per office
