
AN/TPY-2 XP Test Architect

- Support implementation of Exportability solutions into RTX products
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design, development, testing, and validation to ensure successful integration and functionality of exportability capabilities.
- Develop and execute integration plans, schedules, and procedures to meet project milestones and deliverables.
- Perform system-level analyses and troubleshooting to identify and resolve integration issues.
- Conduct system performance assessments and validation testing to ensure compliance with requirements and specifications.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and team members.
- Prepare and present technical documentation, reports, and presentations to stakeholders and customers.
- Understanding, and compliance with, DoD technology release and export licensing policies
- Interface regularly with SI&T UTMD and CPT Test Architects to prioritize planning, share lessons learned, identify best practices, and implement improvements and standardization initiatives
- Develop, implement, and maintain common software/hardware integration, test, analysis, and regression XP strategies for all program variants
- Champion improvements to integration and test planning, activities and initiatives across the program
- Typically requires a Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 8 years of prior experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and 5 years of prior relevant experience.
- Prior System Integration and Test experience on the AN/TPY-2 program
- Prior experience with SI&T scope on Exportability programs
- Experience with MATLAB and data analysis
- Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
- The ability to obtain and maintain additional program access as required
- Experience integrating AN/TPY-2 product in both domestic and FMS configurations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
- Past experience with technical leadership
- Experience with the Earned Value Management System (EVMS) or similar budget tracking system
- Experience with Raytheon’s Proposal Capture Process (development of Basis of Estimates, etc)
- Candidate must exhibit an exceptional degree of ingenuity, creativity, and resourcefulness.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interact positively with coworkers, suppliers, stakeholders, and customers in a team environment
- Experience contributing in a team environment for the purpose of developing creative solutions to technical problems
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex integration issues
- In-depth knowledge of radar technologies and system engineering principles
