This position provides direct nursing care to residents and delegates and supervises the care provided by our Certified Nursing Assistants/Resident Assistants and Nurses.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILLITIES
  • Assist in supervising direct nursing care in community.
  • Supervises nursing personnel on all shifts. Participants in staffing, scheduling, counseling, orientation, on-call, and evaluation of nursing staff.
  • Administers direct nursing care when more than routine care is indicated.
  • Makes routine rounds to assure proper care and a safe, clean resident environment.
  • Functions as the Director of Nursing in his/her absence.
  • Assures accuracy and completeness of medical records, including but not limited to care plans, assessments.
  • Notifies physician and family of changes in resident's condition
  • Assists DON in developing and implementing policies and procedures.
  • Assists in infection control, safety and pharmacy rounds and audits.
  • Performs specific work duties and responsibilities assigned by supervisor.

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
  • LPN currently licensed and in good standing in the state.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Senior Care experience with a good understanding of regulations.
