Compensation: $140,000 $155,000 base + 10% target bonusAbout the RoleWe are seeking an Engineering Services Manager to lead maintenance, reliability, and engineering operations at a large-scale glass container manufacturing facility. This highly visible leadership role oversees predictive and preventive maintenance programs, capital projects, and continuous improvement initiatives to ensure safety, efficiency, and long-term reliability of plant operations.Youll manage a talented teamincluding three direct reports (Project Engineer, Plant Engineer, Facilities Maintenance Supervisor) and approximately 75 indirect skilled trade employeeswhile driving engineering excellence and operational performance in a fast-paced production environment.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and oversee engineering services to support 24/7 manufacturing operations.Develop, implement, and manage predictive and preventive maintenance programs.Direct large-scale equipment installations, rebuilds, and process improvements.Audit and optimize mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electronic systems.Manage capital projects, budgets, and contractor specifications.Oversee critical systems for raw materials, power distribution, fire protection, and environmental controls.Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and housekeeping standards.Provide hands-on leadership, coaching, and technical training to supervisors, skilled trades, and plant staff.QualificationsBachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or related technical field preferred.7+ years of maintenance management experience in a manufacturing environment.Strong technical expertise in electrical systems, electronics, hydraulics, and mechanical equipment.Proven leadership in high-volume, continuous manufacturing operations.Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.Proficiency with Microsoft Office and plant management systems.Why This is a Great OpportunityCompetitive compensation package with base, bonus, and relocation support.Join an established industry leader with a commitment to growth and innovation.Play a critical role in driving continuous improvement and operational excellence.Lead a highly skilled team in a dynamic, hands-on leadership environment.About Elmira, NYElmira offers a balance of small-town charm and modern amenities, with access to the beautiful Finger Lakes region known for its wineries, outdoor recreation, and family-friendly communities.
