We're looking for an ambitious and self-motivated engineer who would like to play a key role in our development process, and help ship very high quality product(s), while working in an energizing environment across a range of technologies.DescriptionIn this role, you will help build and maintain cross-platform test automation framework(s) using Swift and XCUITest to test Apple Search across multiple apps. You will be responsible for creating and maintaining automated tests, triaging test results, and developing tools to monitor both test and product health. Collaboration with cross-functional teams will be essential to identify and resolve issues related to testing and overall product quality. Additionally, you will leverage large language models (LLMs) to automate test generation, improve coverage, and enhance the scalability and resilience of the testing infrastructure.Minimum Qualifications
  • Experience in Swift/XCTest/XCUITest
  • Experience testing mobile frameworks and/or applications
  • Experience developing automation frameworks
  • Experience developing automated software tests
  • Experience developing test plans, test cases, assessing risk, and filing appropriate defects
  • Excellent knowledge of software testing methodologies & practices
Preferred Qualifications
  • Ability to thrive in a collaborative working environment within your team and beyond
  • Ability to triage problems, prioritize accordingly, and propose a resolution
  • Experience using LLMs to build or enhance software testing frameworks, with a focus on generating effective, robust, and diverse test cases
Pay & BenefitsAt Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $147,400 and $272,100, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs.
