- Conducts analysis of business and system processes, system data, integration, and reporting.
- Leads forward-looking, long-term application function, integration and maintenance strategies.
- Performs strategic research and defines, tests, documents and manages requirements according to approved standards/procedures.
- Serves as the application and technical subject matter expert.
- Provides defect management of applications, systems, databases, or websites.
- Predicts potential problems and provides recommendations and documents solutions according to approved standards/procedures.
- Provides expertise on the resolution of the most complex system design and integration problems.
- Prepares, maintains and archives detailed system artifacts according to approved standards/procedures.
- Provides escalated (tier 3) support including on-call (after hours, weekends, holidays) for priority issues. Troubleshoots highly complex production issues and acts as escalation point. Evaluates and follows through on issues and problems until resolved.
- Identifies and leads process improvement efforts within teams.
- Contributes to and champions best practices, methods, standards, and processes.
- Anticipates and leads change in specific technical areas of focus.
- Leads the selection and evaluation of systems analysis software solutions and tools.
- Leads knowledge sharing and shared understanding amongst the team
- Provides functional training, procedural and technical guidance to less experienced staff.
- Works with team leadership to set and track delivery and development goals for individuals on team.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Hands-on experience creating, maintaining, and scaling automated test suites using Mabl.
- Skill in designing resilient test automation scenarios for web applications.
- Familiarity with Mabl's AI-driven test execution, visual testing, and anomaly detection features.
- Integration of Mabl automation within CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing.
- Proficiency with test management tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, Jira).
- Experience with version control systems and collaboration platforms (e.g., Git, Confluence).
- Basic scripting or programming skills to support automation customization (e.g., JavaScript, Python).
- Understanding of web technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, HTTP protocols, APIs.
- Hands on automation skills with Java and Selenium
- Leadership experience leading QA teams
- Mabl Foundation/Advanced (if possible)
- May require travel
