- Perform account reconciliations and financial statement analysis.
- Conduct thorough account clean-ups, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial data.
- Document and improve accounting processes to enhance efficiency and compliance.
- Collaborate with client teams to identify and implement best practices.
- Prepare and review financial reports in accordance with company and regulatory standards.
- Utilize advanced Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.
- Support various accounting projects as needed, providing expertise and insights.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Proven experience in accounting, with a focus on reconciliation, clean up, and process documentation.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions and data analysis tools.
- Experience in the manufacturing industry is preferred but not mandatory.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey complex information to clients and team members.
- Flexibility to work on a hybrid basis, with the ability to be on-site in Decatur, Illinois, as required (travel expenses reimbursed for those who are not local to Decatur)
