- Team Supervision: Lead and motivate a team of 5 employees, overseeing both route and warehouse operations.
- Operational Excellence: Daily work with our Operating System to ensure seamless route delivery execution on a daily basis.
- Client Engagement: Conduct weekly client visits and audits to maintain strong relationships and address any concerns promptly.
- Client Relationship Management: Enhance operational efficiencies to bolster base business growth and bolster client retention.
- Inventory Management: Take charge of inventory controls, including ordering and conducting weekly audits to optimize stock levels.
- Collaborative Leadership: Partner with the District Manager to drive operational efficiencies and excellence.
- Performance Analysis: Analyze business performance data to identify opportunities for improvement in areas such as route sales, pricing strategies, and waste reduction.
- Talent Development: Recruit, train, coach, and counsel front-line personnel to enhance their effectiveness and efficiency.
- Safety Leadership: Champion a culture of safety and troubleshoot operational issues collaboratively to ensure a secure and productive work environment.
- Effective Communication: Foster transparent communication at all levels of the organization to facilitate teamwork and alignment.
- Administrative Duties: Maintain accurate business records, including personal records, delivery and invoice records, and compliance with DOT requirements.
- Strategic Leadership: Ability to navigate complex negotiations and solve unique problems with a broad impact on business.
- Organizational Skills: Excellent time management and multitasking abilities to handle diverse responsibilities effectively.
- Experience: Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience with an Associate degree or at least 5 years of experience with a Bachelor?s Degree.
- DOT Certification: Must be able to obtain DOT certification and operate DOT-regulated vehicles.
- Mechanical Aptitude: Basic mechanical skills or willingness to learn and train.
- Management Experience: Prior experience managing direct reports, including hiring, coaching, and talent development.
