If you are offered a position that requires a background check you will be provided additional documentation to complete once an offer has been extended.Job Details:Location: Vicksburg, MS (Ceres Plant)Position: Bagger OperatorShift: 2nd ShiftSUMMARY:This position is responsible for keeping the automatic bagger machine calibrated and working properly. This position checks to ensure that all bags are sealed completely and properly. Any bags with faulty seals are cut open and the meat is placed back on the conveyer belt to be re-bagged.Safety Equipment: This position requires the use of personal protective equipment including hair net, beard net, smock, boots, rubber gloves, plastic sleeves, and plastic apron and hearing protection.Requirements:
  • Must be able to understand and agree to follow Safety Rules
  • Must be willing to push, pull, carry, and/or lift 40+ pounds for some positions. Must be willing to work in damp, cold or hot environments, reach above shoulder level.
  • Must be able to perform the duties of the position
  • Be willing to stand 8- 10 hours a day
  • Must wear PPE, ear protection (plugs or muffs), hair net and beard guard.
  • Must be able to maneuver around freely as needed.
  • Must have good hand/eye coordination.
  • Must have use of both hands and arms.
  • Must be able to read, write, and have a basic knowledge of math and calculators.
  • Must be able to bend, twist, stoop and reach
