PAY RATE: Up to $36/hourWe are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.Job Details:Job Type: Contract (12 months with potential for extension)Shifts: 1st Shift (6:00 AM–2:00 PM) or 2nd Shift (2:30 PM–10:30 PM)Industry: Aerospace / Defense / AviationBenefits: Medical, dental, and vision (Cigna)Perks: Bonus potential + Priority access via Tier 1 supplierOpenings Nationwide: Thousands of opportunities across the U.S.Qualifying Questions:Are you a U.S. person as defined under ITAR regulations?Do you meet the educational and experience requirements for this role?Can you commute to the job location or relocate if necessary?Summary:Perform machining, welding, sheet metal fabrication, composite lay-up, tube bending, wiring, and assembly of precision mechanical/electro-mechanical components.Work includes reading 2D/3D CAD models, using hand/power tools, soldering, crimping, building prototypes, and installing sensitive avionics and instrumentation.Position requires working in Safety/FOD-sensitive and Controlled Work Areas, following strict quality, safety, FAA, and company standards.Requirements:High school diploma/GED1 year related experience (or equivalent).Strong mechanical aptitude and precise measurement skills.Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and CAD models.Hands-on experience in mechanical/electrical systems (aerospace, automotive, or military preferred).Military background, 3+ years fabrication/assembly, and soldering/welding/sheet metal experience preferred.Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).About Us:The Structures Company is a premier national aerospace and defense staffing agency specializing in contract, contract-to-hire, and direct hire placements.
