Our Client, an Internet Content and Information company, is looking for a Product Manager (III) for their San Francisco, CA/ Hybrid location.Responsibilities:
  • As a lead contributor, validate the market size and opportunity (e.g., user-based, strategic opportunity, revenue).
  • Use subject matter expertise in the field to identify opportunities in the market landscape. Collaborate with relevant teams to build supporting rationales, hypotheses, and visions.
  • Independently create product requirements documents (PRDs) that fulfill the roadmap in ways that meet or exceed user needs and expectations and our goals, collaboratively drive the creation of preliminary design concepts and manage work with the engineering and UX teams to iterate, use our resources and strengths optimally, using best-in-class security, privacy, and safety standards, and compliant with other company obligations.
  • Work with partner teams (e.g., engineers, PgMs, UX) during product design and development to implement the requirements to turn PRDs into OKRs for one or more teams.
  • Drive and resolve technical and/or UX product design related issues promptly as they come up.
  • As a lead contributor, develop and secure buy-in for a product vision that identifies, defines, and supports the overall product narrative and direction, achieving an outcome that is greater than the sum of its parts. drive the identification of user needs from formative research, market gaps or technical insights. Suggest a clear picture of what it means to solve identified needs. Across products and teams, articulate defined product vision in a way that captures attention and compels others to drive action despite obstacles and competing priorities.
  • Define product roadmaps by operationalizing strategy. Independently define and document milestones, develop product/company goals using comprehensive knowledge of competitive landscape, stakeholders, positioning, and customer insights. Align both product and Go To Market (GTM) roadmaps.
  • Take in new inputs and adapt as necessary.
  • As a key contributor, collaborate with relevant teams to build supporting rationales, hypotheses, and overall plans on how to achieve the product vision.
  • Refine and de-risk strategies and processes based on data analysis and stakeholder feedback across projects.
  • As a key contributor, define, identify, collect, and track appropriate product or business metrics, both quantitative and qualitative for new or existing products or business ventures.
  • Collaborate with relevant business and engineering teams on designing the product metrics. Align metrics and measurement plans with product or business goals.
  • As a key contributor, initiate, prioritize, and cut projects or features in partnership with engineering teams. Engage closely with engineering teams to determine the best approach and reasonable execution schedule while considering tradeoffs.
  • Drive launches, maintenance, and retirement in collaboration with other cross-functional teams and stakeholders. Collaborate with xFN partners to ensure launch or retirement approvals in a timely manner by anticipating bit-owner issues (e.g., privacy, legal, inclusion, accessibility, business development, finance). Collaborate with support teams on creation and maintenance of external documentation (e.g., help center). Contribute to identification of situations where it may make sense to deprecate or consolidate products or features. Develop, articulate, and present reasoning and tradeoffs involved in deprecations or consolidations. Contribute to the deprecation or consolidation process when necessary and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure as smooth a landing as possible.
  • Get to know our users: work directly with our top partners and collaborate with user research to intimately understand our diverse designer and developer base, and establish your point of view on opportunities to have the greatest impact
  • Help define the overall vision, strategy, and resulting roadmap for tooling and integrations
  • Lead product definition in close collaboration with your partners (e.g., engineers, PgMs, UX) during product design and development
  • Drive the day-to-day prioritization and execution of development sprints
  • Lead and harmonize processes to define, identify, collect, and track appropriate product metrics, both quantitative and qualitative for new or existing initiatives,
  • including defining success measures that align with the org's goals.
  • Work with XFN teams to developer a robust GTM approach for integrating tools and products into workflows across Client
Requirements:
