o Deeply invest in the well-being of our local communityPosition OverviewThe Senior Vice President (SVP) of Wealth Management is a senior leadership role responsible for overseeing the strategic direction, growth, and profitability of the wealth management division within the Bank. The SVP will lead a team of wealth management professionals to deliver comprehensive financial planning, investment advisory, trust services, and wealth management services to high-net-worth individuals, families, and institutions. This position reports directly to the EVP, Community Banking Group Executive and collaborates closely with executive management to drive business growth and client satisfaction.Role and Responsibilities1. Strategic Leadership:
  • Develop and implement strategic plans and initiatives to drive growth, profitability, and market expansion within the wealth management division.
  • Define the division's vision, mission, and objectives in alignment with the Bank's overall strategic goals and client needs.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the wealth management team, setting clear goals and performance targets to achieve business objectives.
2. Client Relationship Management:
  • Build and maintain relationships with high-net-worth individuals, families, and institutional clients, serving as a trusted advisor and point of contact.
  • Oversee and drive comprehensive financial planning and wealth management consultations to assess clients' financial goals, risk tolerance, and investment objectives.
  • Review and customize wealth management strategies, investment portfolios, and asset allocation recommendations tailored to clients' unique needs and preferences.
3. Investment Advisory Services:
  • Provide investment advisory services, including portfolio management, asset allocation, and investment selection, to help clients achieve their financial goals and objectives.
  • Monitor market trends, economic indicators, and investment opportunities to identify strategic investment themes and asset allocation strategies.
  • Conduct investment research and due diligence on investment products, asset classes, and investment managers to support portfolio construction and investment decision-making.
4. Client Acquisition and Business Development:
  • Lead business development efforts to acquire new clients and expand the Bank's wealth management client base.
  • Develop and execute marketing and sales strategies to attract prospective clients, including networking, prospecting, and relationship-building activities.
  • Collaborate with marketing and business development teams to create marketing materials, presentations, and thought leadership content to promote the Bank's wealth management capabilities.
5. Team Leadership and Development:
  • Recruit, train, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of wealth management professionals, including financial advisors, relationship managers, trust officers, and investment analysts.
  • Foster a culture of excellence, collaboration, and client service within the wealth management team, promoting professional growth and associate engagement.
  • Provide coaching, feedback, and performance evaluations to support associate development and ensure alignment with business goals and objectives.
6. Strategic Partnerships:
  • Oversee Strategic Partnerships including Broker/Dealer, Trust Processing, Asset Management, and various product partners.
  • Ensure all Strategic Partnerships meet all corporate service standards, competitive expectations, and communications.
  • Ensure all Strategic Partnerships meet all goals and expectations of the Bank.
7. Relationship Management:
  • Build, cultivate, and sustain long-term relationships with high-net-worth clients, strategic partners, and key internal stakeholders.
  • Act as a trusted advisor and advocate, ensuring exceptional service delivery and consistently high levels of client satisfaction.
  • Leverage relationships to drive referrals, cross-sell opportunities, and expand the Bank's footprint in the wealth management space.
8. Operations Management:
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Wealth Management division, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and regulatory standards.
  • Drive operational efficiency through continuous process improvement, effective resource allocation, and the implementation of best practices.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with compliance, finance, technology, and other departments to maintain operational excellence and mitigate risk.
9. Sales Management
  • Develop and lead sales strategies that drive client acquisition, revenue growth, and market expansion.
  • Set clear performance targets and KPIs for the sales team, providing ongoing coaching, support, and accountability.
  • Utilize data-driven insights to refine go-to-market strategies, monitor sales effectiveness, and optimize conversion rates across channels.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • Regulatory recommended Security licenses, Series 7, 9,10, 65 preferred.
  • Certified Financial Planner (CFP), Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), or Certified Wealth Manager (CWM) designation preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in wealth management leadership roles, with a proven track record of building and managing high-performing wealth management teams.
  • Strong understanding of financial planning principles, investment strategies, trust services, and wealth management best practices.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with high-net-worth clients and business partners.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance standards applicable to wealth management services.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

The hiring salary range for this position is $175,000.00 to $225,000.00 annually, based on factors such as experience, skills, education, and internal equity.
