- Work with stakeholders to understand business problem statements and convert them into user stories
- Manage the product backlog: author epics and stories, and actively refine tickets to ensure well documented requirements
- Create detailed user acceptance criteria by working with end users and the development teams
- Work with Product Manager to execute against a strategic vision for the product
- Deep sense of ownership and accountability for the problem solution
- Lead large and more complex projects with significant business impact.
- Mentor and guide junior product owners.
- Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success.
- Begin to develop and leverage project and data visualization tools to create transparency and make informed decisions.
- Assist with testing and removing blockers during sprint activities; supporting team members as needed to accomplish sprint objectives
- Navigate organizational dynamics to align cross-functional teams and achieve project objectives.
- Establish and drive standards within and across teams.
- Lead the response to customer-reported field issues, ensuring effective communication and timely fixes.
- Ability to change scope based on goals and manages tradeoffs across initiatives
- 5-7 years in a Product Owner role.
- Extensive experience with mission critical SaaS product development.
- Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills.
- Expert experience in Agile methodologies and scrum practices.
- Expertise in defining and tracking KPIs.
- Understanding of the business value of development decisions and how they affect the lifecycle of the product.
- Experience with data analysis and metrics to drive product improvements.
- Proven ability to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Experience mentoring and coaching multiple team members.
- Deep product/domain knowledge and ability to influence product strategy.
- Experience in coordinating multiple deliverables across teams.
- BS in a relevant discipline or, an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
- Experience working with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)
- Experience working as a Release Train Engineer
