We currently seek a highly capable individual with a strong background in microbiology to join our Global Analytical and Microbiological Services team. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with other scientists to perform specialized microbiological testing to develop Ecolab products and serve as a technical resource on issues related to biocide efficacy. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals to work on collaborative projects across the many markets we serve.What You'll Do:Perform antimicrobial product efficacy testing on disinfectants, sanitizers and other formulations.Provide antimicrobial solutions as a partner on R&D projects and contribute to the development of differentiated technology, products, processes, and/or systemsCollect and analyze data, summarize findings in oral or written reports, and make recommendations for proceeding to project conclusionsAssist with culture stock maintenanceAssist with general laboratory and equipment maintenanceAct as a GLP study analyst and/or GLP study director as directedWrite, revise, and follow Standard Operating ProceduresSupport internal process improvement initiativesRepresent Global Analytical and Microbiology in a competent and professional manner for customer tours and in other interactions inside and outside EcolabEmbrace Ecolab’s safety cultureMinimum Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in microbiology, biology, or related technical discipline with 2 years of related microbiological lab experience OR Master's degree in microbiology, biology, or related technical discipline with 1 year of related microbiological lab experienceExperience with efficacy testing supporting EPA antimicrobial claimsExperience working under 40 CFR Part 160 or 21 CFR Part 58 regulationsPreferred QualificationsExperience working in a customer-oriented environment to effectively deliver testing needsAbility to innovate and think outside the boxStrong attention to detailStrong oral and written communication / presentation skillsAnnual or Hourly Compensation Range The pay range for this position is $72,700.00 - $109,100.00.
