- The primary role is to support the Electrical Systems preconstruction process from pursuit through procurement.
- In conjunction with the Client Executive, Sr. Project Manager and/or Project Manager, and other Preconstruction Systems Specialists, the Electrical Preconstruction Manager supports the development of a project specific preconstruction & procurement plan that meets the clients’ objectives.
- Participates in the preparation and pricing efforts for RFP / RFQ responses.
- Participates in project interviews.
- Engage in professional organizations / events.
- Fosters Subcontractor / Supplier relationships.
- Fosters Client & A/E relationships
- Works closely with the Client Executive, project Owner and the A/E team employing collaborative project planning, constructability, cost savings and value analysis for all pricing deliverables.
- Develops cost estimates at all phases of the projects design, SD, DD, CD.
- Lead and/or support all estimating and purchasing efforts throughout preconstruction.
- Proactively manage, in conjunction with the Manager of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, all outreach efforts to achieve project diversity contracting goals.
- Coordinates with the Senior Preconstruction Manager and/or VP of Estimating and VP of Purchasing relative to capacity for estimating and purchasing workload.
- Assists operations team with Change Order analysis when necessary.
- Update the project historical pricing database.
- Provides input for employee annual performance reviews

- Reports directly to the VP of Estimating
