Together. Every day.CHA Consulting, Inc. is currently seeking two Sprinkler Helpers to join our Commercial & Institutional – Fire Protection Services Team at our Miami, FL or Tampa, FL office. YOUR IMPACT:CHA offers highly specialized fire protection engineering services and cutting-edge solutions to address the most challenging fire risks. Our approach involves adapting strategies and solutions to meet the ever-changing demands of buildings and the environment, while promoting safety and efficiency.The Sprinkler Helper will be responsible for supporting the installation, inspection, and maintenance of fire sprinkler systems in commercial and industrial buildings under the guidance of experienced technicians. The professional in this role will assist with inventory tracking, material handling, and basic documentation as required. Additionally, the Sprinkler Helper will work alongside experienced team members to ensure installations comply with NFPA standards, local codes, and customer requirements.This individual will maintain a clean and organized job site while following all safety guidelines and company protocols. The Sprinkler Helper will gain familiarity with fire protection tools, industry terminology, and best practices in order to build knowledge and skills in the trade.At CHA, you can build a career and find your passion across our diverse business lines and project teams. Find your “why” at CHA! REQUIREMENTS:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • No industry experience required; however, prior construction experience is preferred
  • Must have a valid driver’s license
  • OSHA 30 Training required or must obtain within 30 days of employment
  • Ability to read blueprints and redline fab drawings preferred
  • Ability to perform work in unusual and sometimes difficult positions such as working within ducts, crawl spaces, climbing a ladder, outside in the heat or cold, on lift equipment, or dirty environments
  • Ability to work at heights in a man lift and lift 50+ pounds above head
  • Must have excellent communication skills and positive customer service attitude
  • Ability to work independently and be self-motivated
  • Must be willing to travel
SALARY RANGE::$19.23 - $22.11Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards.
