This role is responsible for the efficient receipt, storage, and distribution of materials across the organization.Familiarity with ERP systems is required, and Oracle experience is highly desirable. Candidates should also bring experience in international shipping and export documentation. While AS9100 familiarity is not required, it is considered a positive attribute.Strong attention to detail and organizational skills are essential for effective inventory management and documentation accuracy.Key ResponsibilitiesMaterials Management
  • Receive incoming materials, verify contents against packing lists and other documentation, and inspect for accuracy and quality.
  • Accurately pick and kit materials needed for manufacturing or distribution.
  • Label, organize, and store materials properly according to warehouse best practices.
  • Perform regular inventory counts, reconcile discrepancies, and report issues to relevant personnel.
  • Implement proper storage and handling techniques to ensure materials are maintained and preserved.
Warehouse Operations & ERP Use
  • Use ERP systems to manage inventory, track orders, and document material movement (Oracle experience is a plus).
  • Prepare and update material handling documents such as packing lists, inventory reports, and shipping documents.
  • Maintain accurate electronic and physical records of all materials, ensuring traceability within the warehouse.
  • Support international shipping and export processes, ensuring compliance with applicable documentation and regulations.
Team Collaboration
  • Collaborate with procurement, production, and quality assurance teams to ensure timely and accurate material flow.
  • Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders regarding material status, shortages, and delivery schedules.
  • Provide responsive support to other departments by fulfilling material requests and maintaining material availability.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent (additional certifications or education preferred).
  • Demonstrated experience as a Materials Handler or in a similar warehouse/production environment.
  • Experience with ERP systems required; Oracle ERP is strongly preferred.
  • Solid background in warehouse operations, including picking, kitting, receiving, and shipping.
  • Prior experience with international shipping and exports is preferred.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills; ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy and quality.
  • Ability to safely lift and move heavy materials and operate warehouse equipment.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.
  • Knowledge of AS9100 and/or experience in aerospace or manufacturing environments is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Lean principles and continuous improvement methodologies is a plus.
