- Receive incoming materials, verify contents against packing lists and other documentation, and inspect for accuracy and quality.
- Accurately pick and kit materials needed for manufacturing or distribution.
- Label, organize, and store materials properly according to warehouse best practices.
- Perform regular inventory counts, reconcile discrepancies, and report issues to relevant personnel.
- Implement proper storage and handling techniques to ensure materials are maintained and preserved.
- Use ERP systems to manage inventory, track orders, and document material movement (Oracle experience is a plus).
- Prepare and update material handling documents such as packing lists, inventory reports, and shipping documents.
- Maintain accurate electronic and physical records of all materials, ensuring traceability within the warehouse.
- Support international shipping and export processes, ensuring compliance with applicable documentation and regulations.
- Collaborate with procurement, production, and quality assurance teams to ensure timely and accurate material flow.
- Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders regarding material status, shortages, and delivery schedules.
- Provide responsive support to other departments by fulfilling material requests and maintaining material availability.
- High school diploma or equivalent (additional certifications or education preferred).
- Demonstrated experience as a Materials Handler or in a similar warehouse/production environment.
- Experience with ERP systems required; Oracle ERP is strongly preferred.
- Solid background in warehouse operations, including picking, kitting, receiving, and shipping.
- Prior experience with international shipping and exports is preferred.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills; ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy and quality.
- Ability to safely lift and move heavy materials and operate warehouse equipment.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Knowledge of AS9100 and/or experience in aerospace or manufacturing environments is a plus.
- Familiarity with Lean principles and continuous improvement methodologies is a plus.
