Title: Field Support Engineer Pharmacy AutomationIndustry: Medical Equipment / DevicesCategory: Technical Presales Support & Technical SalesLocation: Salt Lake City regional area (field-based), UTAHType: Full-timeKey ResponsibilitiesCustomer Support & ServiceDeliver exceptional on-site customer service for BD Parata's pharmacy automation products.Resolve technical issues promptly to minimize equipment downtime.Document service activities and resolutions in Salesforce Field Service Lightning.Technical Maintenance & RepairPerform preventative maintenance and troubleshooting on automated pharmacy equipment.Use digital multimeters, testing equipment, and mechanical tools for complex repairs.Support new equipment installations and upgrades.Training & CollaborationTrain pharmacy staff on equipment usage, maintenance, and troubleshooting.Collaborate with technical teams to resolve complex issues and share feedback for product improvements.Continuous ImprovementProvide insights and product feedback to drive innovation and service excellence.Work independently while maintaining strong communication with the support team.Required QualificationsEducation:Associate degree in Electronics, Mechanical, Robotics, or Biomedical Engineering Technology (preferred).Equivalent education and experience combination will be considered.Technical Skills:Proficiency with Windows OS and Microsoft Office.Knowledge of computer networking, including router/switch configuration and file management.Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to work with hand tools.Experience using digital multimeters and electrical testing equipment.SQL knowledge is a plus.Physical Requirements:Daily car travel (~4 hours per day), with occasional air travel.Ability to lift/carry up to 50 lbs frequently and 100 lbs occasionally.Ability to stand for extended periods (up to 10 12 hours when needed).Workplace & CultureField-based position with regional travel and independence.Access to company vehicle, credit card, laptop, phone, and full toolkit for daily operations.Collaborative environment focused on innovation, quality service, and continuous learning.On-site collaboration is valued for stronger teamwork and problem-solving.
